Beatrice

* SPONSORSHIP COMPLETE! *

Beatrice was rescued from a tiny pen, with no shelter, no food (except for occasional scraps), and no clean water. Although she is litter box trained, which means she used to have a family, she ended up neglected, sleeping alone through cold Oregon winters in the mud. Now that she lives at Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary she’s recovering well, being pampered, and beginning to thrive. She’s an old lady and struggles with arthritis, but as they shower her with affection, and do all they can to make her life comfortable and happy, her personality is starting to shine through: she’s funny and curious and brave. Beatrice is finally getting the love that she — and all pigs — deserve, and will never have to sleep in the cold mud again. Thank you for helping us help her!
